PTMTA is a roughly woven, impressionistic video montage of the women, men, boats, and dreams of the Port Townsend marine tradespeople and the Port Townsend Marine Trades Association. First conceived by Port Townsend shipwright Diana Talley, PTMTA evolved from a preliminary sketch of a RuffDox film project about wooden boats and their lovers.

PTMTA DVD cover art

Part art film, part documentary, PTMTA is a collection of rough, marine grade rushes and an inside look at the marine trades and wooden boat community in Port Townsend. PTMTA is roughly edited, just barely. This is a boat lover's film.
